Method of Reconstructing a Moving Pulse
نویسنده
چکیده
We present a method of analyzing a set of N time signals fi(t) that consist of local measurements of the same physical observable taken at N sequential locations Zi along the length of an experimental device. The result is an algorithm for reconstructing an approximation F (z, t) of the field f(z, t) in the inaccessible regions between the points of measurement. We also explore the conditions needed for this approximation to hold, and test the algorithm under a variety of conditions. As a demonstration, we apply this method to analyze the magnetic field measurements taken on the Compact Toroid Injection eXperiment (CTIX) plasma accelerator. Pulse subtraction Doppler
Recent advances have demonstrated the feasibility of molecular imaging using targeted microbubbles and ultrasound. One technical challenge is to selectively detect attached bubbles from those freely flowing bubbles and surrounding tissue. Pulse Inversion Doppler is an imaging technique enabling the selective detection of both static and moving ultrasound contrast agents: linear scatterers gener...
متن کاملVideo Subject Inpainting: A Posture-Based Method
Despite recent advances in video inpainting techniques, reconstructing large missing regions of a moving subject while its scale changes remains an elusive goal. In this paper, we have introduced a scale-change invariant method for large missing regions to tackle this problem. Using this framework, first the moving foreground is separated from the background and its scale is equalized. Then, a ...
متن کاملReconstructing the Horizon Expectation of the Decanters in Safavid Era Age
Surāhī (decanter) can be regarded as one of the most common types of drinking vessels in Persian art as well as one of the containers mentioned most in Persian literature (especially in mystical literature). In this study, in order to complete this information in the Safavid era, in both domains, the method of reconstructing the horizons of Hans Robert Jauss was employed. Explaining the theoret...
متن کاملReconstruction of pulse noisy images via stochastic resonance
We investigate a practical technology for reconstructing nanosecond pulse noisy images via stochastic resonance, which is based on the modulation instability. A theoretical model of this method for optical pulse signal is built to effectively recover the pulse image. The nanosecond noise-hidden images grow at the expense of noise during the stochastic resonance process in a photorefractive medi...
متن کاملReconstructing human push recovery reactions using a three dimensional under-actuated bipedal robot
This paper presents the ability of hybrid zero dynamics (HZD) feedback control method to reproduce human like movements for walking push recovery of an under-actuated 3D biped model. The balance recovery controller is implemented on a three-dimensional under-actuated bipedal model subjected to a push disturbance. The biped robot model is considered as a hybrid system with eight degrees of freed...
